Murucupi's José Augusto Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Murucupi from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Murucupi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Murucupi had won after a very even match.
