Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duda França took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis de Barros in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Eusébio Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Samuel de Alcântara. Buique's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Clóvis de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Buique's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Mendonça came free, but Samuel de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Buique got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Ferraz. Eusébio Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Eusébio Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel de Alcântara having to make a save. If Eusébio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Duda França got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eusébio Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusébio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Clóvis de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis de Barros struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Samuel de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beirao SS. When Beirao SS's Eusébio Mendonça in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buique's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Buique getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ricardo Tasso hit a great ball. Beirao SS's Eusébio Mendonça suffered a concussion in the 41st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Olívio Lopez's late challenge caught a Beirao SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Buique's Olívio Lopez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Beirao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Duda França came free, but Toninho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toninho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda França in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Beirao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Duda França came free, but Toninho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Buique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Samuel de Alcântara made a huge save. Clóvis de Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel de Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clóvis de Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Beirao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pires came free, but Toninho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Beirao SS got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Mendonça. With a little luck, Buique's Samuel de Alcântara got control of the ball when Clóvis de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pedro Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Samuel de Alcântara made a huge save. Zé Pedro Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Samuel de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis de Barros got free with Samuel de Alcântara in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Beirao SS booed when Buique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Buique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Ferraz couldn't finish the play. If Duda França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Roberto Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Beirao SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
