The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaime Rodrigues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Samuel de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jaime Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Jaime Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buique's Samuel de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Amílton Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Ferraz during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Buique getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vítor Ferraz hit a great ball. When Ronaldo Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jango FC's protests and gave Ronaldo Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jango FC's Ronaldo Ramalho got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jaime Rodrigues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Samuel de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amílton Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel de Alcântara having to interfere. A hard shot 27 in the game by Jaime Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Samuel de Alcântara managed to make a qualified save. Buique's players were relieved. In the 29th match minute, Jango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel de Alcântara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodrigo da Rocha. After some careless play in the Buique defense, Jaime Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel de Alcântara. The Buique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Durval Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel de Alcântara having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ricardo Tasso's late challenge caught a Jango FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Lopez during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jango FC booed when Buique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Amílton Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jango FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Romeu Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Jango FC's Durval Lago. But to his dismay, Durval Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Rodrigues in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel de Alcântara saved Buique from getting behind. Ricardo Tasso was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 69 played minutes Buique got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Tasso. When Jango FC's Jaime Rodrigues in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buique's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jaime Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buique's Samuel de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jaime Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel de Alcântara was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Duda França charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duda França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Buique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda França to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Buique's Duda França got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Jaime Rodrigues notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Buique's Samuel de Alcântara. Samuel de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 87th minute of the match. Samuel de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel de Alcântara was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 92ndth minute of the game Jaime Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buique's Samuel de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buique's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Jango FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Jaime Rodrigues put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel de Alcântara. Jango FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
