Leonel Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Queiroz in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Fernandez saved Garajuva from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Thiago Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Danilo Berger to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Garajuva getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. André Faustino hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Breno Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiaguinho Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão da Costa in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Linhares in the 23rd minute of play forced Garajuva's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Breno Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Fernandez having to interfere. Socceer FC's Alfredão da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes, André Faustino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garajuva and the Socceer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Socceer FC booed when Garajuva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro da Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiaguinho Fernandez. Garajuva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Régis Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Tiaguinho Fernandez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Breno Queiroz in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Socceer FC's Breno Queiroz in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garajuva's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Arthur Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Socceer FC. Adriano Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Breno Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Fernandez having to interfere. With a little luck, Garajuva's Tiaguinho Fernandez got control of the ball when Raí Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raí Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tiaguinho Fernandez made a huge save. Danilo Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match, Raí Linhares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiaguinho Fernandez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute, Raí Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho Fernandez. Garajuva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Nilton Bastos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiaguinho Fernandez. Garajuva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiaguinho Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí Linhares in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Enéas Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Garajuva's Tiaguinho Fernandez got control of the ball when Raí Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Socceer FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
