After a defensive mix-up in Dolcinopolis EC's zone, Valdemar das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Costa came out of the goal and Valdemar das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sérgio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peladeiros's protests and gave Francisco Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. If Jeferson Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Manuel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Moura in the 16th minute of play. Valdemar das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Sérgio Costa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 22 played minutes Peladeiros got a freekick which was hit by Arthur dos Santos. Manuel Moura was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Peladeiros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Manuel Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolcinopolis EC's Sérgio Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Costa having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Manuel Moura made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Costa. Dolcinopolis EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sérgio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Costa having to make a save. The Peladeiros fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Peladeiros's Manuel Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Moura in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Edvaldo Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Manuel Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes, Dolcinopolis EC's Deivid Lucas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cássio Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dolcinopolis EC reached it. Edvaldo Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Peladeiros's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Fantini. Diogo Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Fantini got free with Cássio Ramos in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Peladeiros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeferson Fantini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 80 played minutes, Peladeiros's Arthur dos Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peladeiros reached it. Manuel Moura struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sérgio Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peladeiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar das Neves in the 90th minute of play forced Dolcinopolis EC's goalkeeper Sérgio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peladeiros's Cássio Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Peladeiros from getting a goal against them. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sérgio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Peladeiros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dolcinopolis EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
