The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Máximus FC's Giovani de Brito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Egídio Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Egídio Corrêa's late challenge caught a Peladeiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Peladeiros. Francisco Montenegro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kauã de Souza. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Moura in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauã de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdemar das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã de Souza having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, André Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Máximus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peladeiros the free kick. André Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Yan dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio Ramos. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Madureira got free with Cássio Ramos in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Ramos having to interfere. If Armando Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Máximus FC's Yan dos Santos got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Barros to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Aloísio Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Manuel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peladeiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauã de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manuel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cipriano Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauã de Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauã de Souza having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Yan dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Ramos. Peladeiros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
