The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Cléberson Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Gerber in the 38th minute of play forced Dolcinopolis EC's goalkeeper Sérgio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Bernardinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The corner led Dolcinopolis EC's Paulinho Cordeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which João Francisco Chaves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 88 minutes, Amílton Gerber made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dolcinopolis EC's Sérgio Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Amílton Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sérgio Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
