Gabriel Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís de Lima in the 10th minute of the match. If Giovani Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, José Carlos Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moleira Real's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacuricy EC the free kick. A collision led to Moleira Real getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. José Carlos Furlan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Giovani Pombal could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Afonso Marquez however easily saved by the left post. Afonso Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Moleira Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Machado during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Jacuricy EC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Machado. Sílvio Luís de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gabriel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luís de Lima made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, José Carlos Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Marquez. Jacuricy EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carlos Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori da Cunha during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira hit a great ball. Moleira Real's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
