Stefanos Sioufas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefanos Sioufas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Vaz in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LocoPub FC's zone, Cristóvão Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Sioufas came out of the goal and Cristóvão Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Amancio Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LocoPub FC's protests and gave Amancio Caitano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, LocoPub FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Caitano to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, LocoPub FC's Stefanos Sioufas got control of the ball when Emanuel Simões tried to sneak it across the goal line. LocoPub FC's Stefanos Sioufas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save LocoPub FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Simões got free with Stefanos Sioufas in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristóvão Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefanos Sioufas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes of play LocoPub FC's Luizão Linhares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 42nd minute, Luizão Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Jaiobazinho's Alfredo Ramalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefanos Sioufas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaiobazinho reached it. Stefanos Sioufas made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Emanuel Simões sent off a good shot on target. Stefanos Sioufas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, César Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LocoPub FC's Stefanos Sioufas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Simões in the 73rd minute of play. Stefanos Sioufas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Emanuel Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Stefanos Sioufas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ramalho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. LocoPub FC's César Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Emanuel Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Sioufas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LocoPub FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
