Donato de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periquito FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Eger in the 8th minute of play forced Periquito FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Saraiva in the 10th minute of play forced EMAD F.C's goalkeeper Donato de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Periquito FC defense, Hílton Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Tande. The Periquito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Tande should have stopped the shot. Dedé Pombal succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 19th minute, Dedé Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EMAD F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Pedrinho Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Pombal in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Tony Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Gabriel Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho Tande. Periquito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Dedé Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Rosa in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Hílton Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pedrinho Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matheus Cruz in the 35th minute. Hílton Rosa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Periquito FC's Matheus Cruz made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half EMAD F.C were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Matheus Cruz took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato de Lima. Donato de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Periquito FC's Kléberson Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Matheus Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléberson Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Dedé Pombal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedrinho Tande, 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Rezende in the 81st minute of play forced EMAD F.C's goalkeeper Donato de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Periquito FC booed when EMAD F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes EMAD F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kléberson Saraiva who took care of the corner kick. Donato de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Periquito FC's Kléberson Saraiva tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes EMAD F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Nóbrega. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EMAD F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
