The supporters of Guarani FC booed when Maracai F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo-Sebastian Schweinsteiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Elssen having to interfere. When Marcel Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Maracai F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Laércio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Guarani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Paraíba came free, but Laércio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Eurico Meira took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Laércio Antunes to make any attempt to save it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Meira to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Pedro Luiz Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maracai F.C's Nils Elssen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Paraíba in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Eurico Meira put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Laércio Antunes. Maracai F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
