Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eurico Meira started the match with the kick off. Vítor Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eurico Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curimatau's Marcel Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Maracai F.C's Charles Paraíba got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 27th minute, Marcus Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Romero hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vítor Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Corrêa in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Marcus Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curimatau and the Maracai F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Curimatau got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Barral. Eurico Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Matorin having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Eurico Meira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Matorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Curimatau's Marcel Valle got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Marcel Valle made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Mesquita hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Curimatau getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dalmo Antunes hit a great ball. If Jailson Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Pires hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Benedito Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Maracai F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curimatau:s goal. Maracai F.C:s Nils Elssen showed great skill when he stopped Benedito Arruda:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Meira in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curimatau's Raúl Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Raúl Mesquita off the ground. 92 minutes into the match, Maracai F.C's Eurico Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Matorin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Curimatau booed when Maracai F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maracai F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
