Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Curimatau's zone, Pedro Luiz Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Matorin came out of the goal and Pedro Luiz Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Pedro Luiz Simões put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vítor Matorin. If Pedro Luiz Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Marcus Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curimatau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Marcus Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Salgado in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Curimatau defense, Pedro Luiz Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Matorin. The Curimatau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Matorin should have stopped the shot. Marcus Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Laércio Antunes made a huge save. Ramiro Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Laércio Antunes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benedito Arruda.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Luiz Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laércio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Marcus Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Laércio Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laércio Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Valle in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Guarani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Barral came free, but Laércio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Matorin was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Pedro Luiz Simões capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Luiz Simões really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Douglas de Lara with Samuel Damião as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 82 minutes into the game, Marcus Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curimatau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarani FC the free kick. Marcus Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz Simões in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, Guarani FC's Caetano Salgado made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duda Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Caetano Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Matorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Guarani FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curimatau.
