Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marcondes AD's goalkeeper Andrézinho Quaresma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 played minutes São Tiago Sport club got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Guimarães. After having played for 9 minutes, Adriano Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcondes AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natanael Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andrézinho Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th play minute Jorge Arruda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodriguinho Trevisan. 1-0. Adriano Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rodriguinho Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. São Tiago Sport club's Natanael Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bruno Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marcondes AD's protests and gave Bruno Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Marcondes AD got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bueno. Rodriguinho Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Arruda in the 24th minute. When Natanael Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the São Tiago Sport club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Camargo couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, São Tiago Sport club's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Sampaio came free, but Rodriguinho Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeu Guimarães during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeu Guimarães hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Adriano Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcondes AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to São Tiago Sport club getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Oséias da Cunha hit a great ball. Natanael Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Marcondes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Camargo came free, but Andrézinho Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agostinho Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Andrézinho Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcondes AD's Andrézinho Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Camargo in the 40th minute of play. Oséias da Cunha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Adriano Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Arruda in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute of the match, Agostinho Custódio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrézinho Quaresma was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute, Lenílson Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Goiano's late challenge caught a São Tiago Sport club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. Dé Goiano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Agostinho Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Quaresma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael Camargo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Agostinho Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Andrézinho Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Quaresma having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Bruno Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the São Tiago Sport club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
