If Evaristo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Tayio Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton de Sena came free, but Lucjan Czapski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Veloso hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lucjan Czapski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Elivélton de Sena struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lucjan Czapski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suico. Aírton Barreto came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tayio Esporte Clube's Raí Veloso. But to his dismay, Raí Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evaristo Lopez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Lucjan Czapski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aírton Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ian Magalhães's late challenge caught a Tayio Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Ian Magalhães hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, Léo Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suico and the Tayio Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Suico! In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Tayio Esporte Clube. Hudson Arce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aírton Barreto. 0-2. After 47 played minutes Suico got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Moreira.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton de Sena made a kick off. Kiko Matorin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Luís Paulo Leal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aírton Barreto. The goal made the score 0-3. Aírton Barreto was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Luís Paulo Leal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Paulo Leal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Raí Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Barreto having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Tayio Esporte Clube's Luís Paulo Leal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aírton Barreto. Aírton Barreto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Ian Magalhães hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Aírton Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Olavo Mattos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Aírton Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elivélton de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suico's goalkeeper Aírton Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aírton Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paulo Leal's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Tayio Esporte Clube's Raí Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Barreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Veloso got free with Aírton Barreto in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raí Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aírton Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Tayio Esporte Clube's Luís Paulo Leal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The Tayio Esporte Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tayio Esporte Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
