In the 3rd minute, Dadá Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Paranaense in the 5th minute of play forced Cupe's goalkeeper Manoel Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cupe's Manoel Ferraz got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cupe booed when Crisolita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Cupe's Armando Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeca Secco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Paulo Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Manoel Ferraz made a huge save. Cupe's Oscar Teixeira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Manoel Ferraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Paulo Souto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Cupe's goalkeeper Manoel Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Souto. Luiz Paulo Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Manoel Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Paranaense in the 40th minute of play. Cupe's Manoel Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Cupe from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Oscar Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crisolita EC booed when Cupe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Senna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manoel Ferraz. Cupe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Paulo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Ferraz having to interfere. Zeca Secco came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cupe's Oscar Teixeira. But to his dismay, Oscar Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hugo Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Miranda hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Zeca Secco was a little too slow when Chiquinho Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-2. Oscar Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Zeca Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cupe. Luiz Paulo Souto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manoel Ferraz having to make a save. If Richard Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Manoel Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Crisolita EC's Richard Paranaense made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute of the match Jeferson Breckenfeld shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manoel Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Cupe players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Crisolita EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
