Joélson Figueiredo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Rei Dos Antigos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Delfim Damião hit a great ball. Joélson Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Bezerra in the 16th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Rei Dos Antigos got a freekick which was hit by Natã Pimenta. After a rather tough play, Rei Dos Antigos's Natã Pimenta got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Xapury's Evandro Medeiros in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rei Dos Antigos's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Mendes during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Xapury getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lauro Mendes hit a great ball. Rogério Tavares was a little too slow when Mané Aguiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Rei Dos Antigos's Douglas Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilson Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Douglas Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rei Dos Antigos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Figueiredo having to interfere. Natã Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rei Dos Antigos's Joélson Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Bezerra in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Douglas Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rei Dos Antigos's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

A collision led to Xapury getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wilson Vander hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Rei Dos Antigos's Douglas Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogério Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 58th minute Rei Dos Antigos were awarded a corner. Valdomiro Borges went to the cornerflag to take it. Rei Dos Antigos's Valdomiro Borges was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Tavares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Rei Dos Antigos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Natã Pimenta hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rei Dos Antigos's César Simão got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Edgard Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Xapury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Bezerra couldn't finish the play. If Edgard Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Douglas Viana made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Xapury's Rogério Tavares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 played minutes Rei Dos Antigos got a freekick which was hit by Mané Aguiar. In the 80th match minute, Rei Dos Antigos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Xapury's Edgard Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Viana's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Xapury were awarded a corner. Toninho Arruda went to the cornerflag to take it. Douglas Tepedino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 93rd minute, Douglas Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rei Dos Antigos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
