Glauco Pereira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juarês Bittencourt. EC Relâmpago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Alberto da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. corinthians's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. corinthians's Roger Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Capixaba in the 24th minute of play. Roger Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Charles Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Alberto da Mata made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Bittencourt. EC Relâmpago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When corinthians's Tony Macedo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, EC Relâmpago's Roger Luz threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. EC Relâmpago's Juarês Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Macedo in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Alberto da Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juarês Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Juarês Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, EC Relâmpago's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Macedo came free, but Juarês Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juarês Bittencourt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Alberto da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto da Mata couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Tony Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Bittencourt. EC Relâmpago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of EC Relâmpago booed when corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Donato was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Passos.
