Romeu Meireles's late challenge caught a Quixelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeu Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, CACIQUE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeu Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Porta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Rossi in the 7th minute of the match. If Chico Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Rossi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Augusto Porta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CACIQUE FC. After having played for 11 minutes, Luís Guilherme Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quixelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Chico Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, CACIQUE FC's Romeu Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Porta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Betinho Lara was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Luís Guilherme Penha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Guilherme Penha really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Romeu Meireles got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, CACIQUE FC's Romeu Meireles got a free kick in the 30th minute. Luís Guilherme Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Chico Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quixelo booed when CACIQUE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. CACIQUE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Luís Guilherme Penha scored to the left of an out of position Betinho Lara, making the score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Penha was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Penha in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betinho Lara saved CACIQUE FC from getting behind. Adão Candal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Quixelo's Augusto Porta got control of the ball when Maurinho Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir de Souza in the 62nd minute of play forced CACIQUE FC's goalkeeper Betinho Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Betinho Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guilherme Penha's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Maurinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Augusto Porta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Penha scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betinho Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Maurinho Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Porta was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Tiago Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Lara having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Adão Candal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Betinho Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurinho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Porta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Maurinho Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Porta. Quixelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. Quixelo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
