After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Carlos de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalupa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chalupa FC's Falcão da Silva was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 18th minute Teodoro Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wakil Mammar Chaouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Tupiniquins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Carlos de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Tinoco having to make a save. Falcão da Silva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Vivaldo Tinoco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Souza in the 27th minute of play forced Chalupa FC's goalkeeper Wakil Mammar Chaouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão da Silva struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Vivaldo Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalupa FC. After having played for 31 minutes, Ezequiel Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalupa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vivaldo Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão da Silva's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ezequiel Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Tupiniquins's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão da Silva came free, but Vivaldo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Chalupa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Pena came free, but Wakil Mammar Chaouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tupiniquins's Vivaldo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Paraense in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Chalupa FC's Marcelo Munhoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vivaldo Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Tupiniquins got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Monteiro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão da Silva to make the kick off. Diego Souza hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Chalupa FC's Wakil Mammar Chaouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Souza in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Carlos de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Tinoco. Tupiniquins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ezequiel Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Claudinei Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupiniquins and the Chalupa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tupiniquins getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Claudinei Monteiro hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Carlos de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalupa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Falcão da Silva sped through Tupiniquins's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vivaldo Tinoco. Vivaldo Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ezequiel Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. Vivaldo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão da Silva in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chalupa FC fully deserved thier win.
