José Carlos de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Rafa Paes made a huge save. After 3 played minutes Tabajara got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Porto. After 7 played minutes Tabajara got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme da Silveira. Luís Guilherme da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, M VALOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Prado to maneuver through the defense. Rafa Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Elói Capixaba scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Capixaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laércio Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Capixaba in the 21st minute of the match. With 25 minutes on the clock, Zeca Messias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for M VALOS FC! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Tabajara. Geovânio Bastos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laércio Capixaba. 1-2. After a rather tough play, M VALOS FC's Jerônimo Lago got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Salgado in the 33rd minute of play forced Tabajara's goalkeeper Rafa Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 34th minute of the match Luís Guilherme da Silveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luís Guilherme da Silveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 35th minute, Luís Guilherme da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Porto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Delfim Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. M VALOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Delfim Salgado notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tabajara's Rafa Paes. Rafa Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Enéas Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Paes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Salgado in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Elói Capixaba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laércio Capixaba, 2-3. In the 70th match minute, Tabajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Matos to maneuver through the defense. M VALOS FC's Laércio Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Capixaba in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Delfim Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Paes was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Tabajara's zone, Enéas Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Paes came out of the goal and Enéas Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Delfim Salgado in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Elói Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabajara's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th match minute, Tabajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. Chants of Tabajara echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as M VALOS FC had held the ball for most of the match.
