If Luiz Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Luiz Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Couto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Stoker's Fernando Paraense broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gualter Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mateus Freitas made a huge save. Fernando de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stoker's goalkeeper Fernando de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gualter Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando de Senna having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Luiz Corrêa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mateus Freitas, passed just outside the right post. Stoker's Fernando de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Costa in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Corrêa to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gualter Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Haroldo Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Luiz Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Natã de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mateus Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Galvão in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Oséias Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnaubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Stoker's João Paulo Cerezo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Galvão in the 74th minute of play forced Carnaubas's goalkeeper Mateus Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Stoker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Stoker's Gualter Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Stoker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Stoker getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. João Paulo Cerezo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Corrêa in the 93rd minute of play forced Carnaubas's goalkeeper Mateus Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Luiz Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carnaubas's Mateus Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stoker fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carnaubas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
