Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria Pena started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that José Maria Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinaldo Dracena was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 6th match minute, Jiqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Valle in the 8th minute of the match. DC UNITED FC's Ramiro Ribeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jiqui. In the 13th minute Cipriano Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Vianna came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by DC UNITED FC's Cipriano Valle. But to his dismay, Cipriano Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Valle in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raúl Vianna saved Jiqui from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago de Moraes in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jiqui defense, Cipriano Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raúl Vianna. The Jiqui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raúl Vianna should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Thiago de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Cipriano Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl Vianna. Jiqui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Reynaldo Sena hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Cipriano Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benê Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Vianna having to interfere. Reynaldo Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Thiago de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Valle made a kick off. After having played for 68 minutes, Cesinha Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DC UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cipriano Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Thiago de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the DC UNITED FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago de Moraes couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd match minute, Jiqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleandro Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Valle in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Jiqui got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Esteves. Cipriano Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Thiago de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raúl Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Raúl Vianna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DC UNITED FC's Thiago de Moraes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Jiqui's Raúl Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Jiqui from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Jiqui's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thiago de Moraes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cipriano Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Vianna having to interfere. Thiago de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DC UNITED FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
