Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edinho Quadros started the match with the kick off. When Edinho Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the S.E. Lsiim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Quadros couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Lsiim's zone, Osvaldinho Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Figueiredo came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cariry booed when S.E. Lsiim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Chicão Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdo Figueiredo skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldinho Medeiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. 18 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Souto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cariry's Agostinho Messias. Agostinho Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonçalo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Eduardo Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S.E. Lsiim getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabrício Moraes hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Edinho Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Cariry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Germano Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gonçalo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Júlio Pena made the kick off in the second half. If Edinho Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Souto's late challenge caught a S.E. Lsiim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Souto helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, S.E. Lsiim's Dedê Galvão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cariry's Agostinho Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cariry from getting a goal against them. Gonçalo Souto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Edinho Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Messias having to interfere. If Júlio Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Cariry's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Quadros came free, but Agostinho Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Valdo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Quadros in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Edinho Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.
