Pombeira SS's Cipriano Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Pombeira SS from getting a goal against them. Eliézer Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cipriano Garcia made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Ernani da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estrela Vermelha Paulista had played much better football throughout.
