After a rather tough play, Estrela Vermelha Paulista's Hortêncio Salgado got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Estrela Vermelha Paulista's goalkeeper Duda Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Veiga. 12 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando Prata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duda Lago. Estrela Vermelha Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Fernando Prata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wanderson Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Secco in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Valralla.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Secco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wanderson Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Eliézer Damião notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Valralla.F.C's Wanderson Damião. Wanderson Damião was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Carlos Alberto Secco made a precise shot to the right of Wanderson Damião. Valralla.F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Damião in the 34th minute of play forced Valralla.F.C's goalkeeper Wanderson Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Prata in the 39th minute. A collision led to Estrela Vermelha Paulista getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Murillo de Sousa hit a great ball. 48 minutes in the game Carlos Fernando Prata got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elder Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Duda Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Délio Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valralla.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When Carlos Alberto Secco fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrela Vermelha Paulista's protests and gave Carlos Alberto Secco a yellow card for diving instead. José Pedro Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Duda Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Pedro Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Fernando Prata scored 3-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duda Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Délio Saraiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Duda Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duda Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. José Pedro Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Duda Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Murillo de Sousa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute, Murillo de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Délio Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valralla.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Délio Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Lago having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, José Pedro Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valralla.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estrela Vermelha Paulista's zone, Elder Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Lago came out of the goal and Elder Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valralla.F.C fully deserved thier win.
