Jonas Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Juan Leme came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SANTOS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Leme couldn't finish the play. Cido Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Belmiro Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mapangapa AD the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Lago made a kick off. If Cido Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Cavalcante having to interfere. Frank Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lago in the 88th minute of the match.
