Mateus Ferraz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jairo Senna. Renatinho Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Renatinho Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miguel Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOCA DO LEÃO FC's protests and gave Miguel Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Queiroz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Saideira Futebol Clube's Fred de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Norberto de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renato Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred de Barros in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renatinho Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Norberto de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Renato Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 41 minutes into the game, Renato Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mateus Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred de Barros in the 45th minute of play forced BOCA DO LEÃO FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Bernardinho Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Cristian Siqueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renatinho Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Pedro Augusto Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Fred de Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renatinho Queiroz. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred de Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Norberto de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saideira Futebol Clube's Mateus Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Zé Carlos Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Senna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateus Ferraz. Saideira Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Pedro Augusto Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Senna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pedro Augusto Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Queiroz having to interfere. After 78 played minutes BOCA DO LEÃO FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Queiroz. When Fred de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Saideira Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred de Barros couldn't finish the play. Fred de Barros struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Renatinho Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saideira Futebol Clube. In the 96th minute, Renato Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BOCA DO LEÃO FC had won after a very even match.
