Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Renan das Neves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Estremoz EC booed when Marinopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Percy Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Eliseu Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 10 minutes, Renan das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estremoz EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexsandro Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Paulão Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Sampaio in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes, Marinopolis's Charles Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulão Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marinopolis reached it. After 23 played minutes Marinopolis got a freekick which was hit by Charles Neto. In the 24th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Mangueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexsandro Massa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Bertassi in the 27th minute of play forced Estremoz EC's goalkeeper Paulão Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eliseu Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Marinopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Sampaio couldn't finish the play. Alexsandro Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Massa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Elder Brasil sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Marinopolis getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rogério Siqueira hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Nilson Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Charles Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulão Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marinopolis's Alexsandro Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Brasil in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Estremoz EC's Paulão Goiano got control of the ball when Rogério Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Rogério Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Paulão Goiano. Estremoz EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Romeu Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Marinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Brasil came free, but Alexsandro Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Paulo Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Marinopolis's Andrézinho Pombal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulão Goiano but with some difficulty. Romeu Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Rogério Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Marinopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Siqueira couldn't finish the play. Paulão Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Bertassi in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rogério Siqueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Renan das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
