Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Congonhas SC's Hélder Leite nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Congonhas SC's Paulão Goiano threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélder Leite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Estremoz EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hélder Leite 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The referee gave Estremoz EC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Paulo Mangueira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Congonhas SC's Gil Damião. 3-1. If Elder Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Estremoz EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulão Goiano was a little too slow when Hélder Leite got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-1. Paulão Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Leite's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 46th match minute, Estremoz EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hélder Leite made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulão Goiano having to make a save. Giovanni Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Estremoz EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. Congonhas SC's Gil Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan das Neves in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hélder Leite notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Estremoz EC's Paulão Goiano. Paulão Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giovanni Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Marcus Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Goiano having to interfere. Estremoz EC's Paulão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Leite in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Marcus Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulão Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Estremoz EC's Paulão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Leite in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Estremoz EC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Leite came free, but Paulão Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Marcus Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Congonhas SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estremoz EC the free kick. A collision led to Congonhas SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Marcus Costa hit a great ball. Renan das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Damião having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Estremoz EC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Leite came free, but Paulão Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hélder Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congonhas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Congonhas SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
