In the 3rd minute, William Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráuzio Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Moura having to interfere. Silvério Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Dante's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Renatinho Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Neto. Jaibaras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Felipe Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jaibaras's Luiz Eduardo Azevedo got a free kick in the 34th minute. With 36 minutes on the clock, Virgílio Nogueira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Jaibaras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gualter Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Silvério Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match, Dalmo Sousa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Neto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jaibaras's Francisco Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Jaibaras from getting a goal against them. Dráuzio Gonçalves scored 3-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Renatinho Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pintadinha FC booed when Jaibaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Jaibaras's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Siqueira came free, but Francisco Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renatinho Saraiva in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Neto saved Jaibaras from getting behind. Francisco Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renatinho Saraiva went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, William Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Neto. Jaibaras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Jaibaras's Sidnei Rezende was substituted for Gualter Fontes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renatinho Saraiva in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Saraiva in the 96th minute of the match. Francisco Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pintadinha FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
