A collision led to Tipucu getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Benê Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Dino Massa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ares Empire booed when Tipucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, André Luís Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Tipucu's Cristiano Veiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benê Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Fiori Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Veiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Ares Empire defense, Dino Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubens Souto. The Ares Empire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubens Souto should have stopped the shot. Caio Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tipucu's Caio Severo got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Ares Empire's Vicente Veloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmo Rezende. Dalmo Rezende yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vágner Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Rezende having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ares Empire's Luiz Guilherme Santana got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Ernesto Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Souto came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tipucu's Benê Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Benê Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rubens Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tipucu's Dalmo Rezende got control of the ball when Vicente Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Goiano made a kick off. Luís Fernando Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dalmo Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Benê Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Souto having to interfere. Ernesto Vale hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rubens Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Vasconcelos in the 64th minute of the match. Albertinho Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Cristiano Veiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubens Souto skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Goiano in the 69th minute of play forced Tipucu's goalkeeper Dalmo Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luís Duarte hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ares Empire's Rubens Souto got control of the ball when Dino Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ares Empire getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fiori Cordeiro hit a great ball. If Benê Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ares Empire's zone, Benê Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Souto came out of the goal and Benê Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Benê Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rubens Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Tipucu's Dino Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Benê Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Vágner Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ares Empire's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Rezende having to interfere. The Ares Empire supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tipucu's performance. The match ended with a win for Tipucu.
