The crowd rose to their feet as Eucalipto EC's Carlos Eduardo Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lech Pahucki. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Kauã Teles made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Eduardo Freire. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yunus Akbora in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Schmidt saved Eucalipto EC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's zone, Falcão Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Pahucki came out of the goal and Falcão Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silas Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silas Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Massa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano booed when Eucalipto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Yunus Akbora managed to get in a good position for a shot. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Catarinense came free, but Lech Pahucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobbie Bobikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Yunus Akbora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zeca Schmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bobbie Bobikov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Yunus Akbora got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Pahucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Moraes in the 53rd minute of play. Falcão Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Pahucki having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Yunus Akbora reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeca Schmidt. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Eucalipto EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rui Mendonça fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yunus Akbora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zeca Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Silas Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Cabral hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Michel Neto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lech Pahucki. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Falcão Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Pahucki having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Yunus Akbora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeca Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Eucalipto EC booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eucalipto EC's Zeca Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Eucalipto EC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Silas Massa hit a great ball. Falcão Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Flamengo Paraibano's Lech Pahucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Catarinense in the 92nd minute of play. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Yunus Akbora was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
