Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pontinha EC's Claudinho Matos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Matos in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duda Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Vicente Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes of play, Pontinha EC's Claudinho Matos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Jeitosa AD booed when Pontinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredão Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Pontinha EC's goalkeeper Nando Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão Bittencourt. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alfredão Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeitosa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Pontinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vidal to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Douglas Siqueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Claudinho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Paranaense having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Pontinha EC's Jorge Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duda Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nando Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Alfredão Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nando Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pontinha EC's Claudinho Matos in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jeitosa AD's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Pontinha EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Siqueira made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pontinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Nando Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredão Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Jeitosa AD's goalkeeper Duda Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Mendonça. In the 67th match minute, Jeitosa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Claudinho Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pontinha EC's Nando Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Siqueira in the 74th minute of play. Claudinho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Paranaense having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Claudinho Matos in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 81st minute, Vicente Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pontinha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 86 minutes into the match, Jeitosa AD's goalkeeper Duda Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Mendonça. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Duda Paranaense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Duda Paranaense managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Pontinha EC's Vicente Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Jeitosa AD booed when Pontinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Alfredão Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Pontinha EC's Jorge Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duda Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Duda Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Matos in the 97th minute of play forced Jeitosa AD's goalkeeper Duda Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontinha EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
