The referee ignored Ingaseiro's protests and gave Márcio Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ingaseiro's Márcio Toscano got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Válter Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soledale SEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vicente Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Veloso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Elano Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Marcelinho Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soledale SEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Marcelinho Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denílson Lopez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Soledale SEC's Elano Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Carneiro in the 39th minute of play. Elano Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benê Carneiro went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Augusto Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Frédson de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Denílson Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Abreu having to interfere.

Elano Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Carneiro in the 51st minute of play. Laércio Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Ingaseiro's Vicente Abreu got control of the ball when Marcelinho Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natanael Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Marcelinho Leme struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vicente Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soledale SEC. Benê Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laércio Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Benê Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benê Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Elano Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingaseiro.
