In the 27th minute, Ivo Cardoso fired a really elegant long shot, but Paulão Paiva threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Aurora's Paulão Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel de Andrade in the 28th minute of play. Valdo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Rodolfo Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapéu Atolado Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
