Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitório Varela started the match with the kick off. Adelino Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Adelino Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Varela in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Diversus F.C.'s Vitório Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinagre's Cristian Monteiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 15th match minute, Diversus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Trancoso having to interfere. When Diversus F.C.'s Alfredinho de Barros in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Adelino Trancoso guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 25 minutes, Acácio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diversus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Durvalino Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Varela might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Varela ran back to his position shaking his head. Vitório Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Trancoso having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vitório Varela sped through Vinagre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelino Trancoso. Vitório Varela struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Adelino Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diversus F.C.. Adelino Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Varela in the 41st minute of the match. Adelino Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho de Barros in the 42nd minute of play. The wind increased when Durvalino Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. Adelino Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durvalino Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Vander having to interfere. Lauro Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitório Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Vitório Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitório Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adelino Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durvalino Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamílton Vander. Hamílton Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Durvalino Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Vinagre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durvalino Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Alfredinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
