Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vitório Varela made the kick off and thus started the match. Vitório Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Alfredo Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yellow Jegue and the Diversus F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Yellow Jegue got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Maciel. Bernardinho Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Cristian Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Durvalino Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diversus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellow Jegue the free kick. In the 24th minute, one of Diversus F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diversus F.C.. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Yellow Jegue. Alfredo Maciel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamílton Vander. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Diversus F.C.'s Durvalino Nogueira got a free kick in the 34th minute. Durvalino Nogueira got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th match minute, Diversus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovanni Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho de Barros in the 53rd minute of play forced Yellow Jegue's goalkeeper Bernardinho Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Maciel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yellow Jegue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diversus F.C. the free kick. After 65 played minutes Yellow Jegue got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Esteves. Bernardinho Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho de Barros went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Yellow Jegue's Bernardinho Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho de Barros in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yellow Jegue's Carlos Fernando Esteves got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Diversus F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alfredinho de Barros hit a great ball. Leonardo Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yellow Jegue's Bernardinho Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho de Barros in the 98th minute of play.
