Dorival de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Luz in the 6th minute of play. Massambara SS's Dorival de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Luz in the 9th minute of play. Eusébio Couto's late challenge caught a Iratinga AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Couto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Iratinga AD booed when Massambara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Délio Gaúcho sped through Massambara SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorival de Azevedo. In the 15th minute, Percival de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Délio Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Dorival de Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Natã Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Linhares having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Iratinga AD's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Couto came free, but Roberto Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Frank Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iratinga AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iratinga AD's Roberto Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Marques in the 26th minute of play. Dorival de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Délio Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iratinga AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Frank Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Massambara SS's Dorival de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival de Carvalho during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Massambara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Dorival de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Délio Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. Délio Gaúcho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Dorival de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Miguel Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Luz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 50th minute of the match Massambara SS got a corner. Iratinga AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Léo Campidelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Léo Campidelis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Iratinga AD's Roberto Linhares did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã Marques made a kick off. Dorival de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Luz in the 54th minute of play. Roberto Linhares made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Natã Marques sent off a good shot on target. If Natã Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Augusto Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Dorival de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Délio Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dorival de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 4-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Délio Gaúcho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dorival de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Linhares having to interfere. Cafu Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Percival de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iratinga AD's Délio Gaúcho in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Massambara SS's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Iratinga AD booed when Massambara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Wilton Linhares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorival de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Massambara SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iratinga AD.
