Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Lopes in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Bevenuto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Meireles to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Mateus Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. João Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Bevenuto getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicolas Barreto hit a great ball. Dé Nevess short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jaime Ferreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Bruno Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. João Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Bruno Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Mateus Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Urbro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateus Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Urbro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bebeto Queirós in the 53rd minute. If Bruno Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bevenuto's João Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bevenuto from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Urbro getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ramiro Maciel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Meireles in the 64th minute of play forced Urbro's goalkeeper Jaime Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedro Luiz Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Meireles in the 69th minute of play forced Urbro's goalkeeper Jaime Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bevenuto's Nicolas Barreto pulled a muscle in his leg after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 71 played minutes Urbro got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Vasconcelos. In the 77th minute, Mateus Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ramiro Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Urbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Maciel couldn't finish the play. Bruno Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vale having to interfere. Mateus Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Vale having to make a save. João Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Gaspar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
