Acácio da Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Décio Brodel. Itaipu FPRMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cláudio Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Itaipu FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Itaipu FPRMZ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cido Cerezo hit a great ball. After 18 minutes of play, Itaipu FPRMZ's Victor Meira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fiori Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victor Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tiago Gabriel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 27 in the game by Gilmar Mumbach from a close distance when the talented Décio Brodel managed to make a qualified save. Itaipu FPRMZ's players were relieved. In the 32nd match minute, real flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fiori Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Victor Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fiori Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. real flamengo's Fiori Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Meira in the 41st minute of play. Fiori Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Meira in the 44th minute of the match. Gilmar Mumbach struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Décio Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real flamengo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Meira to make the kick off. Fiori Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 57 played minutes Itaipu FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cido Cerezo. Gilmar Mumbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Mumbach ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Tiago Gabriel Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaipu FPRMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Acácio da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fiori Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. Cláudio Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Décio Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real flamengo. Fiori Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Meira in the 83rd minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Abreu having to interfere. In the 90th minute Victor Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Itaipu FPRMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
