With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Gonçalves in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Décio Brodel saved Itaipu FPRMZ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Gonçalves in the 10th minute of play forced Itaipu FPRMZ's goalkeeper Décio Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Itaipu FPRMZ's Victor Meira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Victor Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaipu FPRMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Miranda made a huge save. If Marcel Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Miranda having to interfere. Jonas Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Brodel having to interfere. Victor Meira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Itaipu FPRMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiago Gabriel Leite took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Miranda. Osvaldo Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Cerezo in the 53rd minute of play. Agostinho Reis's late challenge caught a Itaipu FPRMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agostinho Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Lucianos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Reis to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Lucianos's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Leite came free, but Osvaldo Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Itaipu FPRMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Décio Brodel managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Lucianos's Jonas Gerber fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 97 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Osvaldo Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
