Luís Gustavo de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Nicolas Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cowboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Rosado should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega came free, but Nicolas Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega in the 81st minute of the match.
