If Sandro Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Cavalcante in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Duda Queiroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Washington Valle. Duda Queiroz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Conceicas's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Cavalcante came free, but Mathias Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Indio got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Mello. 14 minutes into the match, Rubinho Zilles sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Washington Valle threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rubinho Zilles this time. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Sandro Siqueira put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mathias Sabóia. In the 22ndth minute of the game Josué Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conceicas's Mathias Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Cavalcante in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Conceicas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Amadeu Soares hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Josué Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indio's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After taking down the ball on Conceicas's corner Virgílio Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Washington Valle quite easily take care of the ball. Vito Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Washington Valle made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josué Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathias Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Josué Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th match minute, Conceicas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Indio's Sandro Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Cavalcante in the 60th minute of the match. Indio's Washington Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Pontes in the 62nd minute of play. Duda Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Conceicas's Virgílio Loureiro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mathias Sabóia came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Indio's Sandro Siqueira. But to his dismay, Sandro Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 80th minute, Josué Cavalcante fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mathias Sabóia, passed just outside the right post. In the 90th minute Josué Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Conceicas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Siqueira in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathias Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Queiroz in the 97th minute of play forced Indio's goalkeeper Washington Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
