After 5 played minutes Tupaoca FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Maranhense. If Tales Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Mendes in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Pimenta in the 13th minute of play forced Tupaoca FC's goalkeeper Renan Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Tupaoca FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Tasso. 19 minutes into the game, one of Bode SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hílton Secco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Felippe Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Terra came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tupaoca FC's Bruno Amaral. But to his dismay, Bruno Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 38 minutes, Fabinho Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupaoca FC and the Bode SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Fabinho Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tupaoca FC's Renan Romero got control of the ball when Tales Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tales Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Renan Romero made a huge save. Fabinho Tasso got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Bode SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tupaoca FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jardel Terra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Maranhense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Tupaoca FC's Bruno Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Bode SC's goalkeeper Jardel Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Amaral. Renan Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felippe Corrêa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Tales Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupaoca FC's Renan Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Remo Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tales Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Tupaoca FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bode SC's much stronger midfield.
