Zé Pedro Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Oswald Mahler made a huge save. Tacare's Wesley Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Gustavo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Zé Pedro Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Rafinha Linares took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oswald Mahler to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Dantas to make the kick off. Sandrinho Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Eger in the 53rd minute of play. Magno Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tacare getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Magno Passos hit a great ball. Wesley Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dragon Ball Z's zone, Zé Pedro Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswald Mahler came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dragon Ball Z's Adelino Diniz got a free kick in the 61st minute. A hard shot by Sterling Acevedo from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Sandrinho Cunha's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 69th match minute, Tacare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswald Mahler having to make a save. Cícero da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswald Mahler having to interfere. Sandrinho Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Cunha in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Secco got free with Sandrinho Cunha in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Zé Pedro Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacare's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswald Mahler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, Tacare's goalkeeper Sandrinho Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Cunha. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tacare had played much better football throughout.
