Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonel Toledo got the match started through his kick off. Rubinho Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caco de Senna had several of the Tayassu AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Leonel de Alcântara as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Leonel Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tayassu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Toledo couldn't finish the play. Tayassu AD's Cauã Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel de Alcântara was a little too slow when Iuri Capixaba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. 22 minutes into the game, Tayassu AD's Cauã Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubinho Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Albertino Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Caco de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Lençoense's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Laerte Dante got a free kick in the 38th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caco de Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Cauã Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Negri having to interfere. Iuri Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leonel de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Lençoense. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tayassu AD's goalkeeper Leonel de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cauã Netto struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rubinho Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tayassu AD. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Capixaba in the 68th minute of play forced Tayassu AD's goalkeeper Leonel de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonel de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tayassu AD's Gilmar Cunha got a free kick in the 77th minute. Iuri Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Caco de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel de Alcântara was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Leonel de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco de Senna's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Caco de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Clube Atlético Lençoense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tayassu AD the free kick. Tayassu AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
