Leopoldo Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Yan Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nordic Team's Yan Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Azevedo in the 19th minute of play. Auriflama SC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Nordic Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexsandro Netto took the corner. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Claudinei Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordic Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Auriflama SC's zone, Zeca do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 莫天泉 came out of the goal and Zeca do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nordic Team getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Geovani Rossi hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nordic Team booed when Auriflama SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 莫天泉 was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 莫天泉. The supporters of Auriflama SC booed when Nordic Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Auriflama SC's Reginaldo Guerra in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
