Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 12th minute, Salinas Náutico Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tostão Nascimento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 14thth minute of the game Michel de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tricolor Futebol Clube's Arlindo Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Arlindo Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eliézer Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Arlindo Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes, Juan Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salinas Náutico Clube and the Tricolor Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gil Rocha was a little too slow when Tostão Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer Rossi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Tricolor Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Donato to maneuver through the defense. Tricolor Futebol Clube's Arlindo Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Rossi in the 33rd minute of play. Eliézer Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arlindo Quadros having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Erik Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Rocha. Erik Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Salinas Náutico Clube getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Juan Senna hit a great ball. When Michel de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salinas Náutico Clube's protests and gave Michel de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Arlindo Quadros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th minute, Michel de Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arlindo Quadros. The goal made the score 2-1. Arlindo Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derviş Keskin's late challenge caught a Salinas Náutico Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derviş Keskin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Tricolor Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Keskin to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Eliézer Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Michael Laudrup kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Marquez in the 84th minute of play forced Salinas Náutico Clube's goalkeeper Gil Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Quadros made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Michel de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Arlindo Quadros was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Eliézer Rossi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliézer Rossi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Salinas Náutico Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
