Márcio Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Aparecido in the 16th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Giuseppe Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Carlinhos de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Aparecido in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos de Godoi in the 57th minute of play forced Botashow's goalkeeper Geraldo Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Susto AD booed when Botashow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
